Dream:Dream beauty distills itself in golden waves over porcelain plains
and within its frame a pearly face swims in paisley patterns
and remains suspended over the dark space above my very own
as ghostly exhalations crawl out in a warm legato
to hypnotize the smallest bones of my body and petrify my very soul
as soundwaves echo through my skull and sing elegies to solitude's demise
for pandora's evils take a willing shivering step into the sun
to make room for the elegant angles of your ivory skeleton

Stranglehold my sympathies are split
unstitched
and guided on hot coal highways
by my hands bound
beneath the gaze of a neon sunflower

burdened by the possession of a torrent of warmth

Beneath i'm a hand inside a mousetrap
and a wind inside a tunnel
i am faces on the streetlights
and you're water on my half-life
i'm electric in a winter
spinning cobwebs in my ribcage
we are fevers in a swimming hole
fossils with our ghostly souls
kicking daisies in a fury
'cause tomorrow comes too quickly
we are growing roots from fingertips
we lose ourselves in an eclipse
and i'm scattered like marble
shattered cleanly on a table
with the buzzing bees around me
and your purple scent surrounding
as candy trees come bearing fruit
to fill our skin with polka dots
and fill our mouths with starry skies

On a Beach The black sea blends
into the night sky,
a rippling mirror
of the cosmos.
The shimmering slivers
of full moon light
flit across the surface.
The waves carry with them
the breath of the world-

The coastline bends

Today I entered a brief commensalism
with a praying mantis.
he kept me in his prayers
upon an altar in the queen ann's lace
and reformed his faith on a monarch's wing.
he made my name known on the thorax
signature orange-black,
where god soon recognizes flight
as unanswered prayers.

but I, I myself had no faith to contain him
between cupped palms. My last communion
a swig of cicada blood,
I kneel bedside on a Sunday night,
a mad insomniac, imagining the crucifixion
of crickets who bear lunar craters like a cross.

I've cleared cobwebs from
church bells before, but I have also spun them

When the Slender Man Came Silent night gave way to rain
which drizzled endlessly
like a whisper and a slight wind
scratched branches in the wooded glen
at the end of town
when the slender man came.

Headlights shined in bright flares
glaring off the puddles and
running along the gutters, blinding
drivers to the thin stretch of legs
which slipped lithely through the brush
when the slender man came.

Children talked in hushed voices
of nightmares filled with faceless specters
and skittering limbs, spiderlike grace
embracing them in the tight confines
of their sleep deprived minds
when the slender man came.

In late January, my car was broken into and my bag along with journals and my laptop were stolen.
So I pretty much lost every poem and song I wrote/recorded.
I've since recovered the laptop (cops actually did their job) but I finally learned the importance of publishing my writings somewhere I can't lose them.

Like dA.

So more than ever, I'm fired up to write, and eager to share.
'cause it's a shame to keep something private when even I can't enjoy it.
So enjoy it.
